Design Electric Inc. is seeking experienced and dynamic Industrial Electrician to join our team in Charlottesville, VA, and Harrisonburg, VA. As a full-time Industrial Electrician, you'll play a pivotal role in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, lighting, motors, and associated systems. Salary Range: $47,840 to $56,160 (depending on experience and qualifications)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • (Preferred) Journeyman's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • 2 years of industrial electrical experience
  • Proficiency in:
    • Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems
    • Identifying hazards and defects in electrical systems and equipment
    • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues using test equipment and hand tools
    • Termination of wires in various components
    • Compliance with safety regulations and standards
    • Planning and executing installations based on blueprints and local codes
    • Mentoring less experienced workers
  • Capability for physically demanding tasks
  • Dependability, effective communication, and strong problem-solving abilities
