Responsibilities include reading medical office visits and determining the appropriate level of E/M code to bill, choosing appropriate CPT codes for all procedures done in the office and adding any necessary modifiers, also communicating with Providers best documentation practices to adapt.
Additionally our medical coders are responsible for working claim denials, rejections, and submitting claim batches electronically.
