Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
GENERAL DUTIES
The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring the provision of volunteer services and supports the function of patient experience initiatives hospital-wide. This position maintains statistical information concerning the volunteer including hours worked, schedules for all volunteers throughout the facility and volunteers during the summer months. This position serves as the hospital’s liaison to the Volunteer Auxiliary Committee and also to outside institutions and other community groups coordinating volunteer efforts. The Volunteer Services Coordinator ensures hospital and regulatory compliance of the volunteer programs, and coordinates the hospital’s effort to be the community’s volunteer opportunity provider of choice. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Pay Range: $23.20 - $34.80 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
