OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION 

The Art Director position at DH is a pivotal role responsible for spearheading creative vision, directing design strategies, and ensuring the highest standards of artistic excellence across a diverse range of projects. As an Art Director, you'll lead and inspire a team of designers, guiding them to produce compelling visual narratives that captivate audiences and drive social change. You'll collaborate closely with clients, providing strategic direction, creative insights, and expert guidance to bring their visions to life. 

We're seeking a Seattle-based Art Director with a deep understanding of the local market, a passion for community engagement, and a knack for building meaningful relationships. In addition to your creative prowess, you'll bring strong business acumen and a track record of success in driving impactful design solutions. 

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 

• Associate degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with previous agency experience highly desirable. 
• Proven expertise in leading design projects from concept to execution, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. 
• Demonstrated experience in client management, strategic planning, and project coordination. 
• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision, design versatility, and ability to communicate complex ideas visually. 
• Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a commitment to fostering a culture of belonging. 
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Competitive salary ranging from $74,970 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
