OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The Account Director position plans, manages, and directs high-level integrated communications and social change strategies for a range of accounts. This role serves as a proactive leader and manages client relationships on the most complex accounts, providing direction and strategic counsel, coaching, and conflict resolution for the team. Senior Account Directors also provide strategic counsel to clients, manage profitability goals, generate new business, and represent DH as an expert and an industry leader.
We’re looking for a Seattle-based team member who has strong market knowledge, is actively engaged in the community and has strong business development skills and a passion for relationship building.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field; Masters and APR credential preferred.
· Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field; previous agency experience is preferred.
· Demonstrated experience in project management, strategic communications consulting, research and relationship management.
· Demonstrated experience with and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles.
· In lieu of a college degree, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
· Multilingual abilities are a plus.
· Agency experience desirable but not required.

Salary commensurate with experience, with an expected range of $93,000 - $107,600. Benefits include generous paid time off and 401(k) with matching contributions.
Reports to: Vice President or Partner
