We are passionate about cooking from scratch with amazing local and organic ingredients along with providing an excellent experience for our guests! We are always looking for high energy individuals who love giving great service and having a lot of fun!

Position Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $22 - $25 per hour

-This average rate includes an hourly base rate of $16.28 plus expected hourly tips

FOH Positions: Positions will include the below as training progresses in a casual, fast paced Takeaway and Dine In environment.

• Runners and Bussers

• Hosts and Cashiers

• Takeaway Staff

• Phone Sales

Schedule Availability: This position includes early mornings and late evenings shifts along with weekend availability is a must.

Part Time / Full Time: Part Time must be able to work 15-20hrs and Full Time must be able to work 30-40hrs per week

THE ROLE - PERFORMANCE EXPECTATION / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides generous hospitality to our guests and team members by making eye contact and greeting them enthusiastically

• Ensuring food and drinks are correctly, graciously and promptly delivered to our guests (takeaway or dine-in) 

• Thorough understanding of the ingredients in our products and can confidently explain the menu

• Answering phones and graciously receiving orders from our guests via the POS System

• Champions the cleanliness and organization of work spaces and our dining room

• Assists with replenishing products and dry good supplies at DERU

• Thorough understanding of touch-screen POS order system

• Answers guest questions or asks for assistance if needed

• Treats customers and team with courtesy and respect

• Positively responds to direction and requests

• Participates in training and attends classes

• Stays productive during slow peak times

WHAT IS DERU'S HIRING PROCESS:

Within one to two weeks, you will hear if you have been selected for a phone interview with our restaurant manager. After the phone interview, you will hear within a week if you have been selected to come in for an in person working interview at DERU Market!
