Medical Assistant Job Description
A Medical Assistant at Dermatology Partners has an instrumental role in providing quality patient care and support in alignment with company core values and culture. They are responsible for preparing and evaluating patients for their visit, supporting the provider with proper transcription and patient care and education. They have a key role in the training and acclimation of new staff to the team. The Medical Assistant helps to create the culture of Dermatology Partners by always being polite, friendly, and helpful to patients and team members. They always present in a professional appearance and manner. There are no supervisory responsibilities unless assigned by the appropriate Manager. The Medical Assistant reports to the Regional Manager or the Training and Compliance Manager. The Medical Assistant may need to travel to local clinics to assist if needed.
