Dermatology Associates of Concord (DAC) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible dermatologist to join our busy and highly respected dermatology practice to meet expanding patient demand.
Established in 1972, DAC is located approximately 20 miles outside of Boston, Massachusetts with three office locations – Concord, Cambridge and Waltham. The practice, consisting of 13 MDs, including a Mohs surgeon and a dermatopathologist, is dermatologist-owned and dermatologist-centered.
The practice is designed to maximize the physicians’ ability to efficiently care for their patients in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The electronic medical record is dermatology-specific, and all physicians are provided with scribe support and assistance with patient results, prior authorizations and coordination of care. In addition to the clinical staff, DAC employs a dedicated administrative team, a billing/coding department, and centralized call center; many of whom have been with the practice for over ten years.
The collegial and academic atmosphere at this privately-owned practice is enhanced by frequent discussions of complex and rare cases. DAC has an excellent reputation with a strong referral base with a practice mix of 85% medical dermatology and 15% cosmetic dermatology. The practice offers Coolsculpting, Emsculpt, Exilis, aesthetic services, skin care products and phototherapy. These services are provided by our licensed aesthetician and two trained phototherapists. Other laser modalities are available and are physician operated.
The successful candidate should expect to work 4 days per week doing general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
