Dermatology and Skin Care of MD is Hiring a Medical Assistant/Scribe Near Crofton, MD
- Exam room preparation and clean up.
- Room patients: Scribe and document patient's chief complaint, history of present condition, review of systems, past medical, social, and family histories, medications and allergies, and reason for their visit.
- Shadow doctor: Prepare for and assist with surgeries and procedures, both medical and cosmetic.
- Triage: Assist with answering patient’s questions, refilling prescriptions, pathology, and explaining test results.
- Experience working in a dermatologic environment.
- Scribe experience.
- Excellent listening and note-taking skills.
- Charting, medical documentation, and EMR experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy: EMR (Nextech preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS
