Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical terminology, patient service, and office systems.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Maintain electronic health records using systems like eClinicalWorks and Epic
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including handling emergency room (ER) situations

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or Epic EMR systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for healthcare privacy
- Previous exposure to various phone systems used in medical offices
