Job Summary:

Dermatology and Allergy Specialists of Olympia is searching for a Medical Assistant to join our amazing clinical team. Dermatology experience is always a plus but we are also searching for a team player who is willing to learn and grow with us. We are always willing to train the right person and provide future opportunities for advancement and continuing education. A Medical Assistant at our office will be responsible for assisting their provider in ensuring a smooth daily schedule, assisting in biopsies, rooming the patients, scribing notes, taking vitals, scheduling surgeries and more. Qualifications: 

  • Graduated and received certification from an accredited educational institution or previous relevant RMA experience
  • Must have current CMA certification in Washington State or demonstrate the skills required for an RMA
  • CPR certification, or willing to complete upon hiring
  • Previous experience in Dermatology is preferred, but not required we have a robust training program and often work with students
  • A highly motivated and self starting team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to continuously learn
  • Scribe experience is a plus but not required
  • Proof of full vaccination for Covid is required
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Job Type: Full-time

Equipment Operated:Standard medical exam/office equipment.

Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies and sit and stand for long stretches of time.

  • Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Scribe experience or willingness to learn
  • Excellent office skills using word, excel, emails and phone use
  • Accuracy with typing and filing
  • Strong customer service skills

License:

  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant or equivalent certification
