Dermatologists of Central States is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator Near Clinton, MI

POSITION OBJECTIVE
To provide a superior level of patient support, marketing support, administrative support, elevated facilities experience, customer service and patient education.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Tasks
  • Physical and Financial open and close of office.
  • Morning Standup meeting with Provider Pair.
  • Open, stock, and close treatment rooms.
  • Stock retail skin care products.
  • Complete patient appointment tasks at the highest level including but not limited to patient photos, tagging, and filing photos and patient paperwork in the EMR.
  • Educate and inform patients regarding procedures and skincare.
  • Exhibit professionalism when speaking with patients both on the phone and in person. (both wording and tone).
  • Appropriate selling of products to meet sales goals.
  • Attend EMR related issues, documenting all patient encounters and keeping records up to date with staff informed.
  • Clear and consistent communication and follow up with the provider team.
  • Office and daily tasks including but not limited to cleaning of the office, printing, report reconciliations, and inventory stocking.
  • End of day reporting and deposits.
  • Communicated procedural issues and workflow concerns to Spa Manager.
  • Answer all communications in a timely manner and direct appropriately.
  • Schedule and modify appointments.
  • Manage the scheduled with a strategic mindset for booking, cancellations and waitlist.
  • Proactively adjust the schedule to maximize provider utilization and patient satisfaction.
Patient Experience
  • Ensure the highest level of Patient Experience is upheld throughout the entire patient encounter.
  • Exhibit professionalism when speaking with patients both on the phone and in person. (both wording and tone).
Sales
  • Credential the practice, Providers and Estheticians
  • Make treatment and product recommendations that are appropriate for the patient.
  • Maintain lead conversion goals for initial inquiry patients.
Record Keeping and Medical Record System
  • Record patient medical concerns and document and track medical escalations.
  • Verify patient information is updated in the system.
Privacy
  • All HIPAA privacy rules followed.
  • Business practices and policies kept confidential.
