Department of the Army is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist (Military) with Security Clearance Near San Antonio, TX

Duties * Conduct military strength management requirements to support the Commander's mission. * Coordinate with other major commands regarding Human Resources military strength management regulations, policies, directives and programs. * Perform a variety of recurring and special projects and services supporting MEDCOM military strength management. * Prepare presentations and briefings for senior management/key officials regarding strength management and military personnel assignment matters. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment. * This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience utilizing military human resources management to evaluate and make recommendations on plans and proposals, develop courses of action, and experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to analyze data extracts and reports from automated databases and/or develop the most efficient and effective approaches for management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
