STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I (SUPERVISOR) – ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION / ACCOUNTING SERVICES SECTION / SPECIAL PROJECTS SUPPORT UNIT
The reporting location for this position is Headquarters - Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II.
The Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor) provides direct supervision to the special projects support unit staff who are responsible for the complex cross-functional project assignments. The SSM I (Sup) oversees the research, analysis, design, development, testing, evaluation, and delivery of internal projects for the Accounting Services Section and related processes and procedures. The SSM I (Sup) will use knowledge of the FI$Cal system, State Administrative Manual, GASB and all business processes to make rational, timely decisions on behalf of the special projects support unit. The Accounting Services Section works closely with the Business Management Services Section as the principal area of the department that develops, delivers, and coordinates educational services to park employees regarding FI$Cal and related policies. The goal of the special projects support unit is to ensure that all employees receive accurate information in order to make sound decisions.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
This position is designated as telework eligible. This position is remote-centered.
