Department Of Health And Human Services is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Supai, AZ
Summary
ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION: Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Southwest Region, Phoenix Area, Colorado River Service Unit, Supai Health Clinic is located in Supai, Arizona. This position provides maintenance services for the Supai Health Clinic and attendant facilities and equipment that involve knowledge and skills in a variety of trades and crafts. The incumbent reports to the Health System Administrator of Supai Health Clinic.
Duties
- Makes repairs that can be accomplished by removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, soldering and insulating defective wiring, controls, equipment and fixtures such as broken and bare wiring, burned out switches and relays, loose connections and fittings, damaged light fixtures, and poorly operating thermostats.
- Maintains, repairs or constructs of a variety of structures and surfaces of brick, block, stone, and other related materials.
- Installs, modifies and repairs new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems.
- Must have knowledge of the methods and procedures involved in the installation of new roofs and the repair of leaky roofs.
- Performs a variety of tasks in the upkeep and landscaping of the Service Unit Grounds.
