Touchmark at All Saints is the area's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Human Resources Manager.
Full-time position, primarily M-F 8am-5pm.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will enrich lives every day by bringing Touchmark's values to life for each team member. Your influence will help to make this community a great place to live, work, and visit – whether that be through finding qualified, motivated candidates to join our team or providing counsel to employees and managers. By promoting a positive and productive workplace, you will help to ensure that each team member is serving as a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
Duties for this position will include but are not limited to managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all open positions; coordinating and conducting a thorough orientation for new team members, benefit administration, workers compensation and leave coordination, employee relations, as well as additional HR-related tasks.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:
• Be committed to Touchmark's values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), and have the desire to model these values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers
• Possess a bachelor's degree in human resources management or other related field
• Have at least one year of experience in a human resources role, with duties that include recruiting, onboarding, and administrative hiring.
• Have a working knowledge of Employment Standards and other employment laws
• Understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
