What You'll Do:

• Performs any of the duties typically required of a school principal in the Denver Public Schools, under the supervision and with the support of the school principal.
• Engages in all required activities, including bi-monthly cohort sessions, school visits, and a 3 day retreat.
• Takes responsibility for learning by articulating needs and collaborating with mentor and facilitator to differentiate learning to meet individual leadership needs and the context of the school.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Master’s degree, preferred.
• Principal Resident Fellows must be accepted into the Learn to Lead program.
• Leadership experience as assistant principals or comparable role(s) is preferred.
• Must have deep knowledge of instruction, experience leading other colleagues in school and are within 1-2 years of meeting criteria for principal positions.
• Three (3) or more years of management experience, required.
• Principal Residents must hold a valid Colorado Principal License. Click
