Qualifications

Dental South is in search of a positive and caring dental assistant to join our team. We are a general dentistry practice in Wyoming, MI with two doctors. Dental experience is preferred but not necessary—we would be willing to train the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the dental field.

Job Duties

· Greet patients

· Explain dental care and treatment plans

· Chart treatment and notes in Patterson Eaglesoft

· Take dental x-rays

· Set up and clean rooms for dental procedures

· Sterilize and organize dental instruments and supplies

· Assist dentists and dental hygienists with suction, handing instruments, and ensuring access and visibility during procedures

· Follow infection control protocols

· Set up rooms for nitrous oxide administration during procedures

· Assist front desk as necessary

Hours

· Monday 8-5

· Friday 8-3

· More hours may be available.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Schedule:

• No weekends

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
