Dental Arts of Frederick is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Frederick, MD

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take dental x-rays

- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding as necessary

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Assist with front office tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program

- X-ray certification

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic

- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with taking vital signs is a plus
