About this Job
We are looking for a friendly, part-time Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of fine jewelry, sales skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, provide expert advice, and contribute to the overall success of our store.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Provide personalized assistance to customers in selecting fine jewelry pieces that meet their needs and preferences
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through follow-ups and personalized communication
· Offer expert advice on gemstones, metals, and design, ensuring customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Assist in maintaining the visual standards of the store, including displays and cleanliness
- Handle merchandise with care, ensuring proper storage and security
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting inventory counts
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner
- Maintain customer records and update the client database as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fine jewelry sales is desirable
- Strong knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry craftsmanship
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling transactions and product information
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Hours:
· About 25-29 hours a week, Tuesday- Saturday
· Off Sundays and Mondays
We offer a competitive pay package and is negotiable based on experience.
