DSCC IE Digital Director

Reports to: IE Director

Department: DSCC IE

Location: This position is based in Washington, DC and will work in the DSCC’s IE’s office.

Description

The DSCC IE is seeking a Digital Director to supervise the conception and implementation of online persuasion and mobilization programs for targeted Senate races.

This position will coordinate with digital firms on creative schedule, buying plans, and testing schedule. This position will attend all calls with pods.

What You’ll Do

Approve and manage all digital media plans, before final approval from the IE Director
Oversee all aspects of the digital strategy in targeted states, from platform selection and creative production to audience targeting
Ensure coordination across TV and digital media firms when it comes to creative execution, media planning, and buying
Approve and manage all digital media content, before final approval from the IE Director
Track digital competitive spending and messaging
Track digital programs’ KPIs and make recommendations for optimizations when needed

About You

3 cycles, of political paid digital media experience on behalf of either an agency, IE, campaign, or other political organization
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Experience with managing high-volume digital persuasion and mobilization ad programs with numerous competing deadlines
Experience managing teams that include consultants
Experience working with legal teams
Committed to a no drama workplace
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
