Job Summary

The Administrative Office Coordinator performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas : administrative support to project departments and project management, data entry, reports, office records, and inventories.

Education and Experience Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains office records, adminisitrative lists, furniture / equipment inventories, contacts listings and various report.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies;

verifying receipt of supplies.

  • Administrative responsibilities as pertains to security badge system and alarm systems.
  • Maintains and verifies completion of health screening forms and the daily janitorial cleaning checklists
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Assists the Human Resource and Administrative Departments as necessary.
  • Provides on-site office assistance for the Flint location.
  • Types / generates and mails letters and other documents as directed.
  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing building projects as assigned by management.
  • Learn and comply with company standards and operating procedures.
  • Identifies potential opportunities to improve administrative department services.
  • Responsible for adhering to all established safety standards.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.
  • Occasionally, lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Education - High School diploma or equivalent

Skills / Knowledge - Microsoft Office and other management tools; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Experience - A t least 2 or more years of experience in administration or related field .

Abilities

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, intuitive, organized, and able to adapt quickly to changing demands on time and work efforts.

Must be able to problem solve and undertake projects independently while successfully executing multiple tasks in a fast paced, time sensitive, dead-line oriented environment.

Ability to work as a team member. Regular attendance.
