Dem-Con Companies is Hiring a 2nd Shift Line Lead Near Shakopee, MN

The Line lead/Assistant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the sort line and balers as well as supervising 2nd shift employees.

Essential Functions

Supervise individual waste sorts

Maintain and repair balers, conveyor systems and compactors

Help keep accurate count of spare parts and tools 

Perform routine inspections of equipment and complete preventative

maintenance as needed

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles

Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials both inbound and outbound

Qualifications:

Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair all components of the sort line and balers

Previous mechanical experience

Basic computer knowledge

Have a working knowledge of conveyor belts, bearings, motors and reducers
