Dem 2 Brothers And A Grill Bbq in Charleston, WV is looking for one kitchen to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 423 Virginia St W. / 189 Summers St Charleston. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Staff duties include taking orders, preparing ingredients, discarding expired items, maintaining kitchen areas clean and sanitized, placing food items on plates, maintaining cooking equipment, and setting heat levels of ovens and cooking ranges.

Responsibilities and duties of this job.

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils

• Clean and sanitize food preparation work stations

• Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients

• Follow all food health and safety requirements

• Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage

• Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors

• Interact with customers as needed

 Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous experience in a restaurant preferred

• Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift 50 pounds

• Willingness to work weekends and nights

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
