DeLuca's Market is a progressive and growing independent food store, deli and wine cellar, with locations on Boston's Charles Street and Newbury Street. The Wine, Beer and Spirits Associate will work in coordination with the Wine Managers and Owners to grow our cellar business and make our stores a premier destination for craft brews, hard-to-find spirits, and delicious wines.

You will:

• Report to the Wine Managers and store owners
• Provide prompt, efficient, friendly, and engaging guest service to local customers and tourists visiting our beautiful city
• Engage and educate guests about wine/beer/spirits
• Host weekly wine tastings and special tasting events
• Promote tasting events on social media and through interaction with customers
• Receive and stock wine cellar merchandise
• Coordinate with Beer Reps to ensure we have the appropriate mix of inventory, do not receive too much product, and receive credits where appropriate
• Assist with wine store inventory, invoice review and requisitions
• Rotate, face and replenish merchandise and ensure highest quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and inviting space at all times
• Create a theme based display table on a regular basis
• Prepare a monthly “Cellar Update” to share with leadership team regarding trends in the cellar.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
