Description

Deltech has a great opportunity available for an Accounting Specialist who will be involved in various aspects of the accounting cycle to make an immediate impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Prepare and audit customer invoices to ensure correctness.
• Maintain purchase order balances.
• Prepare and distribute various weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly sales tax returns for various locations.
• Assist with preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Enter journal entries and maintain general ledger account reconciliations.
• Circulate Project Approval Requests (PARs) and ensure that approvals are received timely.
• Assist with various capital project reports/recordkeeping.
• Assist with quarterly and annual audits.
• Serve as back-up for daily cash receipts posting and printing of daily bank reports.
• Serve as back-up for purchasing.
• Perform light administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree with 1-3 yrs relevant work experience preferred but not required; at least 3-5 yrs experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
• Experience:
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite required/Accpac experience a plus.
  • Advanced PC proficiency.
  • Strong Excel background.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
