Responsibilities:
- Work within a Deltak project team consisting of Project Engineer, Mechanical Designer, Mechanical and Structural Engineers to enable efficient, effective, and successful project execution.
- Prepare shop detail fabrication drawings, including weld symbols and procedures of boiler equipment pressure parts and non-pressure part assemblies and interface with the shop during the manufacturing process.
- Prepare Bill of Material’s as required to complete detail drawings and provide support to purchasing for material procurement.
- Participate in developing new procedures and standards in the Drafting Group.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Degree in Mechanical Drafting or related engineering field required.
- Strong analytical skills to perform essential job functions.
- Strong CAD (AutoCAD, 2D or 3D) skills and abilities
- General understanding of boiler systems.
- Working knowledge of industrial steel equipment fabrication and industrial pressure part welding.
- Ability to effectively use typical technical software as necessary to execute non-CAD drafting and office functions (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Good communication skills.
- Three to five years of previous related experience preferred.
