Essential Functions:

• Set up in a fast and accurate manner and safely operate fabrication equipment.
• Use power and hand tools safely as the job requires.
• Refer to drawings, blue prints, and sketches as required to perform fabrication tasks.
• Maintain accurate material usage records.
• Operate overhead crane and forklifts in a same manner as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping in performance of work tasks.

Technical Skills:

• Basic working knowledge on inventory and fabrication drawing documentation.
• Strong experience with fabrication, blue print reading and layout required.

• Conduct self in a respectful and appropriate manner and to safely perform essential job tasks.
• Perform tasks in an efficient and productive manner to meet customer project schedules.

General Hazards:

• Proper operation of forklifts; use of seat belts when driving as rollover protection to move product between 5,000 to 25,000 pounds.
• Proper procedures must be followed for crane operation to lift product between 50,000 to 200,000 pounds.
• Proper lifting techniques must be utilized to lift product; additional assistance required when lifting product in excess of 50 pounds.
