Job Description

The Human Resources Quality Assurance Specialist role requires an individual who can manage highly technical, specialized, and complex projects, interpret HR/business requirements, and work with multiple stakeholders on the implementation of new functionality that will improve the end user adoption and experience. This role will partner with departments to ensure the attendance policy is being followed and executed in a consistent timely manner. Oversees employee information in applicable HR systems and external benefit carrier databases. Manage day to day system activities including report development, workflow management and process changes required to support evolving business. Responsibilities will include evaluating, analyzing, simplifying, standardizing, and maintaining the overall HR technology landscape while indirectly leading and developing a team of Payroll and Benefit Specialist on quality and controls best practices. Advises and guides management in the interpretation and application of employee policies, statutory regulations and programs. Will leverage technology and look for ways to streamline and simplify processes.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain the HR systems, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HR systems.
  • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents for the Payroll and Benefits team
  • Documenting processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

Job Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR 3 years in Human Resources experience
  • Strong data curiosity, problem analysis, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop clear and effective presentations of data and research findings
  • Demonstrated ability accessing data in a relational database environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Directs, collaborates, and delegates appropriately while working as a team
  • Continuous improvement mindset at all times
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent ability to forward think and anticipate changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and reading comprehension skills
  • Outstanding conflict resolution skills
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 7 years in Human Resources experience
  • Excellent and proven problem solving, critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
