Delta College is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative for our Covington campus. The perfect candidate must be goal-oriented, highly motivated, and have excellent customer service skills.

The Admissions Representative assists and guides prospective students searching for career development. Other responsibilities of the position include :

• Recruiting students into career training programs.
• Conduct virtual and face-to-face interviews to assess prospective students' educational needs, vocational ambitions, aptitudes, and abilities and help match prospects to career training.
• Scheduling appointments with incoming prospects for campus visits and providing information about the different career programs offered.
• Participating in school Career Day Events and College Nights.
• Helping the prospective student navigate the admissions requirements and the documentation needed to meet the demands of various regulatory entities.
• Follow-up contacts via phone calls, emails, texts, etc.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable and confident with making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
• Must be computer-literate to fully utilize and record all activity in the CRM system.
• The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Experience in recruiting, career counseling, sales, or customer service is strongly preferred but not required.

This position involves heavy phone work and follow-up, but no cold calling . All necessary training will be provided.
