Delray Center for Healing is Hiring an Admissions Coordinator Near Delray Beach, FL

Expanding mental health practice seeking a qualified and motivated individual for a key Admissions Coordinator position. The purpose of the Admission Coordinator is to facilitate the admission process, answers inquiries and assist patients with initial consultations. This is a full-time position.

We are a progressive mental health treatment facility that continues to grow and combines both holistic and conventional treatments in the care of people struggling with major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, substance abuse, and a number of other mental health issues. This is done with the help of a highly qualified team of physicians, therapists, fitness professionals, acupuncturists, massage therapists, nurses, case managers, yoga instructors, and many other experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers
  • Ensure accurate and complete collection and recording of patient insurance information and fees
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems (AdvancedMD) to input and access patient data
  • Educate patients, families and professionals about our mental health services
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding admissions inquiries
  • Provide tours for prospective patients and their families as requested
  • Communicate with other mental health professionals (therapists, hospitals, psychiatrists etc.) in order to facilitate client care
  • Collaborate with the front desk staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely admissions
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in Health Administration, Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred. 4 years work experience in medical practice or healthcare setting also acceptable.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals and work independently
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
  • Must be flexible to adapt to an ever-changing, growing company
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Experience in medical scheduling or administrative roles is preferred
  • Understanding of Apple computers and AdvancedMD EMR a plus, but not required

Compensation: Base Weekly Salary Commission

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Pay includes base salary plus generous bonus/commission plan.
