Delray Center for Healing is Hiring a Medical Biller Near Boca Raton, FL

Medical Billing Office

Busy South Florida outpatient practice specializing in mental health/psychiatric treatment is actively conducting interviews for, manager assistant, medical records, payment posting and insurance verifications.

This is a full-time position with benefits. Experience preferred but will consider training for the right candidate with some or similar experience.

We are seeking motivated, positive, individuals who are team players and would like to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES/ AREAS OF TRAINING

Must be well organized and detail oriented, work collaboratively with the Insurance Billing team, able to work independently on projects with and or without supervision.

Knowledge and use of coding a plus. Must be comfortable using Internet resources; Availity, Medicare, etc and other resource sites as applicable to position. Typing/data entry experience - computer savoy- word, excel etc.

Verifying patient coverage- working knowledge of out-of-network and in-network billing a plus

Follow up on EOB posting and running statement reports

Submit required documentation to satisfy insurance requests for patient care

Field patient calls concerning their claims and or benefits to appropriate staff

Communicate to management any concerns regarding verification or claim status

Assist in ongoing training and support to admin. staff to increase efficiency and accuracy

Must be team player with positive attitude

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Prior experience with medical practice, preferably mental health or substance abuse, and or online training

Knowledge and use of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 resources a plus

Must be well organized and detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time w/benefits

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour to start
