Work you'll do
Background:
The government agency is modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of agency services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of the effort, the government agency's OCIO is establishing a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. This requirement will be administered centrally to directly support ITOS and Cybersecurity Divisions.
Description:

• Support, update and maintain services for the iBoss secure access service edge (SASE) platform or equivalent services
• Integrate the SASE product into the enterprise network platforms including Microsoft Azure, VMWare NSX and other applicable network solutions
• Produce high quality technical proposals that align with requirements set forth by the network operations branch chief
• Act as an SME in relevant planning and design sessions, periodic data calls, troubleshooting calls and other ancillary requests as it pertains to developing the SASE platform to meet requirements

Qualifications
Required:

• 7 years' hands on experience engineering, implementing, and managing a modern SASE solution, working with generalized network services including layer 3 routing using EIGRP and BGP, Virtual Private Network solutions including IPSec and SSL VPN
• 1 year of experience working within Microsoft Azure and/or other comparable cloud service provider's network environments
• 2 years' project lead and management experience, demonstrable history of leading successful deployments of enterprise class solutions
• Current active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
• Bachelors Degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Location: Telework or remote work acceptable

Preferred:

• Proven track record of working independently and with a team to implement and support enterprise class technical solutions
• Solid understanding of zero trust principles and their application to securing a networked environment
• Certifications:
• AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
• AZ-700 Designing and Implementing Azure Networking
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
