ServiceNow Administrator - USDC Solution Specialist

The Team

The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients’ needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements.

Work you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
  • Perform regular maintenance activities, including system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Implement and maintain IT service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow modules using JavaScript, Angular, and other web technologies.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems through REST API, SOAP API, and other integration methods.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues and incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize platform usage.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel. 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience with proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations 
  • 2 years experience with strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, and web technologies for customization and enhancement purposes.
  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST API, SOAP API, and other methods.
  • Familiarity with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and data management best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist preferred
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and their application in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, or other ServiceNow modules.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes and workflows.
