Work you’ll do

This role serves as a leader for new Deloitte learning solutions. The right candidate will have experience designing and bringing to market new learning products, as well as establishing and managing associated operating models and delivery teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design, activation, and commercialization of new businesses and assets in the learning space
  • Managing product backlogs and solution evolution, informed by project outcomes and market sensing
  • Driving operational processes and delivery of learning solutions with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continual improvement
  • Leading business development efforts, including go-to-market strategy development and execution, proposal and statement of work development, and client presentations
  • Driving marketplace growth of learning solutions, and expanding sales through greenfield opportunities, matrixed internal industry channels, and accounts
  • Leading practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, and whitepapers
  • Managing day-to-day interactions and communications with executive sponsors, clients, and other key stakeholders
  • Leading a globally distributed team, maintaining a hands-on role with accountability for quality, schedule, risk, issue, and resource management
  • Forging strong relationships with firm leaders, project teams, and clients that will contribute to your growth and development
  • Performing the role of counselor and coach; providing input and guidance into the staffing process; active participation in staff recruitment and retention activities; providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices; active engagement and providing development opportunities for staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of relevant management consulting or industry experience
  • 10 years of experience as a Project Manager successfully managing and implementing large, complex projects in a consulting or industry environment with multi-functional teams
  • 8 years learning-related experience in areas including:
    • Learning experience design
    • Learning curation strategy & execution
    • Digital learning tools and technologies
    • Learning operations management
    • Learning transformation strategy and roadmap development
    • Learning organization and governance design
    • Curriculum analysis and design
    • Learning product roadmap management
  • 6 years working in software development life cycle models as well as strong knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • 6 years of experience managing staff and leading medium to large-sized teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior business leaders
  • Excellent organizational skills – must be able to multi-task
  • Experience managing staff and leading medium to large-sized teams
  • Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments
  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,725 to $292,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
