Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team! This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of repairs and maintenance tasks on domestic vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians and support staff to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
• Plan and prioritize workflow to meet service requirements and customer expectations.
• Diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide guidance and support to technicians as needed.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels and order parts and supplies as necessary to support service operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 
• Automotive technical training or certification preferred.
• Required a minimum of 2 years of auto shop experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in domestic vehicle systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities with the capacity to motivate and mentor team members.
• Solid understanding of automotive repair processes, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and customer service excellence.

Bonus:

• ASE certification
• Proven experience as a shop foreman or lead technician in a automotive service environment.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m.  NO WEEKENDS
