Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking a Security Officer to Maintain the safety and security of our campus, as well as its residents, employees, and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible deterrence to crime and prohibited activities by patrolling the buildings and grounds
- Investigate incidents of unusual circumstances reported by personnel, visitors, or residents
- Respond to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly conduct of combative residents, visitors or employees
- Responds to Fire Alarms and other emergency needs
- Escorts and assists visitors, residents and personnel to and from parking areas, as requested
- Monitors campus using electronic surveillance equipment
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- 1-2 years experience field of security, preferred
- Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
