    GENERAL INFORMATION:
    SUPERVISOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT
    12 month, Full-time, Permanent
    Reports to Director of Instructional Support
    Qualifications:
      Must hold or be eligible for State of Delaware Certification as Central Office Personnel
      Master’s degree (as required by certification)
      Minimum 3 years’ experience in school/district administration
      Working knowledge of laws, regulation and practices related to Delaware’s public education system and Early Childhood regulations
      Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment
      Knowledge and experience in project management and program evaluation with special attention to licensing for early childhood in schools
      Demonstrated knowledge of school and instructional leadership
      Experience with building early childhood programs in schools/districts
    Responsibilities:
      Supervises Early Childhood programs
      Provides analysis and determines appropriate recommendations of early childhood data of the Delaware Early Learner Survey, Childhood Outcome Survey, and Teaching Strategies Gold
      Oversees the universal Ages and Stages ASQ screening process
      Delaware Early Literacy/Cape Readiness Team Lead
      Identify, blended and braided funding for early learning programs to offer more availability of quality preschool education to underserved populations
      Develops Early Childhood Development opportunities for the district’s community
      Oversees Early Childhood Screening Procedures and Processes
      Supervises District program Little Vikings (oversees admittance)
      Familiar with state and federal regulations, including but not limited to Regulation 619
      ECAP knowledge and ability to secure grant funding
      Ensures facilities become licensed through the State of Delaware for Early learning programs
      Summer Academies for Pre-K – 5
      Mental Health (shared responsibility)
      MTSS (with a focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 for Pre-K to 12)
      Lead Child Find partnerships with Child Development watch to intervene with potential pre -K children
      Serve on state level committees to implement and provide feedback on new policies
      Lead outreach efforts to ensure that ALL students have access to learning opportunities within the district
