Delaware Department of Correction is Hiring a NCCER Carpentry Instructor Near Smyrna, DE
The Delaware Department of Correction(DOC) is expanding the construction training offerings to the residents at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center. DOC will hire a contractual part-time instructor or instructors to provide the delivery of the NCCER Carpentry program at the institution which is 170 hours.
The instructor rate is $37 per hour.
The instructor must possess carpentry journeyman or technician level expertise with 3 years of experience.
The instructor must have a desire to increase the knowledge and skills of residents in the course.
The instructor must have the desire to reduce the likelihood of recidivism of residents in the course.
The instructor must clear a DOC security clearance and maintain it during the course delivered.
Prior NCCER successful instructional delivery is preferred.
