Primary Responsibilities : Maintains the receiving, storing, staging, and distributing inventory in the warehouse and outside storage areas, and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.

Also directs the activities of warehouse associates on his / her team.

Specific Duties & Tasks :

• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory
• Inspect product for defects and damages
• Use of forklift to move and stage inventory.
• Pick, pack and prepare inventory for shipping and installation
• Assist inventory control process including but not limited to cycle counts, tagging and labeling, tracking, and notating with appropriate documentation or logistics software.
• Receive, store, and expedite returns of damaged or scrap inventory
• Assist in the removal of inventory from and cleaning of company vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse.
• Delivery or pick up inventory to / from other warehouses, project sites, or vendors in company vehicles.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels as directed by Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations Supervisors.
• Train staff assigned to their team and direct their warehouse teams activities to assure they are meeting their individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Operations manager so that the teams activities are helping achieve operational objectives.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor with performance reviews and identifying team members that require performance improvement or disciplinary action.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Responsible for special projects as requested by the Supervisor or Manager and other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience (shipping & receiving of materials / trucks, pulling orders, stocking, organizing of stocks along with cycle mounts)
• Be forklift certified, preferred.
• Be hard-working, reliable, and able to multi-task
• Have obtained a valid drivers license for at least 15 months, and able to meet auto insurance guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Be able to pass a Drug Test
• Be able to pass an extensive background check
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work flexible hours
