What You'll Do:

• Responsible for providing support in all HR functional areas including employee relations; recruitment and retention; new employee onboarding; pre-employment testing; reference checks; I9 verification with E-Verify; compensation; benefits; training and development; and company sponsored programs.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Serve as a mediator in employee complaints and through problem solving and investigation, resolves issues raised by employees and managers and documents the outcome.
• Advise in areas related to employment policies and procedures, diversity, employee morale, local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Maintain accurate HR records and systems to track employee information and other relevant data.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management to continually improve processes and procedures.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR senior leadership team.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR generalist or similar roles, preferably in the construction or HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite. ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
