Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Take orders from customers and input them accurately into the system
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations on food and drink options based on guest preferences
- Ensure all guests' needs and requests are met promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Clear and clean tables, returning dishes and utensils to the kitchen as needed
- Assist with restocking and replenishing supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays of food and beverages
