- Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards.
- Know and be able to speak eloquently about the hotel and restaurant menu items.
- Gain insights into a guest's dining preference through verbal and nonverbal cues.
- Maintain the ambiance and service standards of the hotel throughout the dining experience.
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Prepare the room for dining by preparing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, polishing glassware, and polishing utensils.
- Utilize OpenTable to monitor and make reservations.
- Assist dining room team in tracking and recording guest preferences in guest profiles.
- Support servers in satisfying guest needs by taking direction and helping to serve all items.
- Assist with food and drink delivery when called upon.
- Respond to additional guest requirements by inquiring about needs and observing the dining process.
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.
- Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems preferred.
- Ability to exercise personal discipline and extra diligence to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Flexible Schedule- Willing and able to work shifts duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
- Education:High school or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:Minimum 1 year in similar position experience preferred. OpenTable experience preferred.
