This is a Full-Time position at our corporate office, with exceptional benefits, a strong management team that will build your accounting and teamwork skills. As a Staff Accountant, you provide superior service at all times to our accounting department. This includes but is not limited to performing various administrative functions in the office— Responsible for verifying and preparing daily banking transactions, including cash concentrations. STAFF ACCOUNTANT SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for reconciling various bank statements and problem-solving issues.
  • Post daily recurring credit card batch, process weekly over-on-payoff and rollovers, and bi-weekly employee payments.
  • Review and balance various accounts.
  • Assist in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Responsible for submitting annual census data to the government.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of monthly reports & spreadsheets.
  • Back-up for others in the Accounting Department as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by a leader.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service, the ability to react appropriately under pressure, and the ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrates adaptability by adjusting to changing business priorities.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively work in collaboration with team to achieve objectives.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient at speaking, reading, and writing English.
