The Service Writer is responsible for providing personalized secretarial and administrative support to the Maintenance/Fleet department in a well-organized and timely manner.
Duties
Create and maintain work orders ensuring all required parts and labor are allocated correctly.
Review incoming work order requests forms and aid in coordination of services.
Coordinate with internal services for travel arrangements/lodging for Fleet Service Personnel.
Assist in administrative/data entry functions within work order platform regarding Fleet Services/Maintenance functions.
Maintain departmental work schedule as needed.
Assist with tracking and certification of equipment and associated record keeping.
Track internal/external certifications of Fleet Services Personnel.
Confirms receivables and process associated paperwork
Revision of current Fleet Services practices/policies ensuing maximum efficiency.
Adhere and enforce company quality management system.
Aid in Fleet process development to maximize efficiency.
Other related duties as assigned by Fleet Manager.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm but maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of management. On site attendance required.

Skills & Abilities
Education: Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: 2 years in an administrative position with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently. Previous experience with Salesforce or work order system preferred.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and standard office equipment.
High level verbal and written communication skills; able to display discretion and confidentiality.
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
