Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will have a strong foundation in electrical, electro-mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, with a proven track record in automation and control systems. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical design principles and regulations, especially regarding special occupancies in hazardous locations as outlined by NFPA 70.
Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
Conduct simulations and analysis to evaluate electrical systems, components, and applications, incorporating feedback to optimize design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed according to plan, on time, and within budget.
Utilize AutoCAD Electrical for creating and modifying detailed electrical schematics and layouts.
Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 regulations for special occupancies in hazardous locations, applying best practices for safety and efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Continuously update professional knowledge and expertise in electrical engineering, including software and tools, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Location: Zelienople, PA
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Direct Reports: none
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional on-call availability on nights and weekends due to the 24 hr nature of the O&G service industry.
Amount of Travel Required: 5-10%
Position Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a similar Engineering/Technology field.
Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for designing and documenting electrical control systems.
Solid understanding of NFPA 70 and experience with electrical systems in special occupancies in hazardous locations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
