POSITION SUMMARY— Responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all CNC machines and other production equipment. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting. Repair services and routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components in order to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of all production equipment and fixtures utilized by the organization. WORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Diagnose, repair, and test malfunctioning equipment and machinery
• Replace faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of CNC machines and other production equipment if necessary
• Provide daily emergency and preventative maintenance on CNC machines and other production equipment
• Conduct visual inspections and testing of machinery and equipment to locate malfunction causes
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S procedures, rules, and regulations
• Operate forklift when necessary
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers

• Developed analytical and troubleshooting skills including mechanical and electronics as it relates to industrial equipment
• Establish, maintain, and foster cooperative working relations with others in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Graduate, GED, or HSDE preferred; Associates’ Degree in a related technical field is preferred
Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience of repairing and troubleshooting CNC equipment preferred
Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy
Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License preferred; Must pass and maintain written and driving test for forklift certification
Other Requirements: Ability to be on call should problems arise outside of normal work hours
