Full Bookkeeping Service in need of full time experienced intermediate accountant to work 32 hours per a week, and 40 hours during tax season.
This is a great opportunity for someone knowledgeable and passionate about bookkeeping and accounting. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of prior work experience in accounting, Quick Books Desktop, and QuickBooks Online as well as excel.
Job Description and Duties:
1. Categorized and code entries into QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
2. Book journal entries
3. Bank, Credit Card and Loan Payable Reconciliation
4. Payroll Journal Entries to recognize employee’s share and employer’s share on payroll liability accounts, compute monthly payroll deposits for federal and state, prepare payroll tax returns.
5. Analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
6. Accounts payable
7. Accounts receivable
8. Must be able to read a tax return, and produce closing entries, per the tax return, per the trial balance to book into QuickBooks.
9. Detail oriented.
10. Organizational skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and Excel. Have an understanding of accounting and financial reporting, and problem solving. Must show up to work on time. Must be fluent in English, and have English Comprehension.
Will be tested on accounting skills and QuickBooks.
