Direct Support Professional

Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities/ autism
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of ADLs and ability to provide personal care assistance
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in meal preparation, including knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences
- Physical strength and ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs
