Role Overview: As the Assistant Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager in all aspects of service operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning
of the service department, delivering exceptional customer service while maximizing productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and technician supervision.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts and accessories.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolution.
- Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Train, mentor, and motivate service staff to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall dealership operations and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and service management software.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality service.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and technical aptitude preferred.
